Positive staff members will self quarantine for two weeks with any positive tests for Covid-19
Any staff member exhibiting symptoms must obtain a coronavirus test within 24 hours of symptom presentation, and are required to self isolate until they receive results of their test.
Clients with COVID-19 positive tests will self isolate including minimizing any contact with others.
Team will work closely with client residences to assist in developing safe quarantine options.
Develop an emergency communication plan for distributing timely and accurate information to workers and those you serve.
Employees will utilize basecamp to communicate emergent needs and text messaging to communicate with residents.
Identify actions to take if you need to temporarily postpone or cancel events, programs, and services, especially for groups at greater risk such as older adults or people with chronic health conditions.
All events over 15 people indoors and 20 people outdoors are postponed.
Zoom and other telehealth therapy options will be provided to all clients.
Frequently wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
All residents and staff will wash hands upon entering, after eating, smoking, etc., and using the restroom.
Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow.
Proper hygiene has been reviewed with staff.
Clean frequently touched objects and surfaces.
The facility will disinfect all shared spaces 3x daily with Lysol, Clorox wipes, or bleach solution.
Stay home when sick.
Anyone with a temperature of 99.5 will be required to stay home for 24 hours after fever subsidies.
Any symptoms including shortness of breath, fever, dry cough, etc should contact their primary care provider to see if a COVID-19 test is appropriate.
Provide COVID-19 prevention supplies at your organization (e.g., soap, hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol, tissues, trash baskets, and a couple of disposable facemasks, just in case someone becomes sick during an event).
Facemasks are required when possible exposure could occur.
Plan for staff absences by developing flexible attendance and sick-leave policies, plan for alternative coverage, and monitor and track COVID-19 related staff absences.
Treatment facility will be providing incentives for working additional hours, and supporting it’s employees with extended time off with any positive COVID-19 test.
Engage with stigmatized groups and speak out against negative behaviors to help counter stigma and discrimination.
