About Tamra

Tamra is a grateful and passionate recovering addict who has been an active member of Narcotics Anonymous since embracing a new way of life. Her clean date, August 10, 2007, remains the most significant milestone in her journey, one that she cherishes deeply.

Learning to live without the use of drugs and alcohol has been a process, one she knows she couldn’t have done alone. Through recovery, Tamra has discovered her worth and the importance of connection. She has found true peace of mind and a sense of purpose that guides her today. She believes that setting herself aside to help someone new in recovery may be the most meaningful act she can do. Her enthusiasm for sharing recovery out loud comes from a sincere desire to help others break free from suffering in silence.

Beyond her commitment to recovery, Tamra is a proud mother of three amazing sons and a devoted grandmother to five incredible grandchildren who light up her world. She has a deep love for travel and dreams of feeling the warm sand between her toes on the beaches of Italy. A history museum or a night at the theater has always captivated her, with nature being Tamra’s sanctuary, especially when surrounded by hummingbirds and waterfalls. She enjoys exploring the outdoors on her mountain bike and finds peace and serenity in the simple act of gardening.

Above all, Tamra cherishes life’s simple moments and remains deeply grateful for the journey that brought her to where she is today.
