About Mile High Recovery Center
Mile High Recovery Center began in 2016 when Founder and CEO Brice Hancock opened his first sober living house in Denver, Colorado. It has since grown to nine sober living homes and a 12-bed treatment center accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by LegitScript.
Mile High Recovery Center is run by a passionate team of skilled professionals, many of whom are in recovery themselves. Why we are here
A Need for Drug and Alcohol Rehab in Denver
In a city the size of Denver, there is a real need for drug and alcohol rehab and treatment. The city of Denver boasts a population of just over 700,000, and the greater metropolitan area of ten counties pushes that to almost 3 million people. In a population that large, there are plenty of individuals struggling with addiction. Our mission is to serve as many of them as we can, from the first call through treatment and years into recovery.
Detox is coordinated through our partners. Everything after it happens here.
While we treat the full range of substance use disorders, most of our clients come to us for alcohol, fentanyl and other opioids, and methamphetamine. These substances are often associated with party culture, and Denver’s nightlife and brewery culture make alcohol hard to avoid. LGBTQ+ Denverites are affected by substance use at higher rates than the general population (SAMHSA), and a significant share of our clients and alumni are LGBTQ+.
