Shay is an active and passionate member of the recovery community. Working as Mile High’s Facility and Safety Manager, Shay assists in multiple facets of the treatment center and sober living, alike. Shay grew up in Greenville, South Carolina and moved to Denver, Colorado in 2019 to seek recovery at Mile High Sober Living. Shay eventually became a house manager and helped many new clients in early sobriety. Shay enjoys playing in TSRAs sober softball and volleyball league, camping, listening to Grateful Dead and Widespread Panic and hanging out with his 115-pound Bernese named Wally. Shay brings empathy, humor and pride to his work at Mile High Recovery Center; he loves to see progress in those who are seeking treatment.
